GYAC’s annual gala, held each January, is our largest event of the year. The gala introduces guests to the important work we do and helps raise vital funding for GYAC’s programs. GYAC also hosts a semi-annual open house, job fairs, health fairs and a twice monthly Mobile Food Pantry. Our facility is also available to the community and outside organizations to rent as an event venue.
Through a partnership with Riverside Theatre, 15 of GYAC’s students will be performing Disney’s The Lion King JR. as part of Winterfest on December 2nd. GYAC students will perform a 60-minute version of the production at 12:00 p.m. on the Waxlax Stage. The festival will be open from 10:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m. on Saturday. Twice a month GYAC hosts a mobile food pantry for local residents in need of food. Through partnerships with the Treasure Coast Food Bank and Shining Light Garden, GYAC is able to distribute fresh, non-perishable food to those in need. Pet food, hygiene items and medical supplies are also available.
