Education + Recreation = No Summer Slide!
Our balanced approach to summer means that your child(ren) will start the school year with confidence and perhaps even a leg up on their peers.
Education
One thing parents love about GYAC’s summer camp is our focus on education. Campers spend their mornings in a classroom setting Monday – Thursday, from 9 AM to 12 PM.
Based on their individuals needs, students either begin learning material for the school year ahead or they receive instruction on materials where they could use extra help from the prior year. Our Sonday Reading program offers one-on-one support to students who need help with reading.
Recreation
Don’t worry! There is PLENTY of time to enjoy everything summer has to offer. Field trips and activities are included in the low-cost of camp, which is made possible by GYAC’s incredible donors.
Recreation Activities Include:
- Swimming
- Skating
- Tennis
- Golf
- Bowling
- Field Trips
